So it occurred to me that if I kept talking about lots and lots of wines I liked, that within a short time I would be out of wines. And then our Wine Buyer pointed out there were hundreds of wines in our stores and it just meant I needed to try some new ones.
Smart guy, our wine buyer.
He also reminded me that we have wine stewards at some of our stores that are on hand to help you pick out the perfect wine – and that I could pick their brains, too.
Again, I say, smart guy, our wine buyer.
So Ron, our wine steward at Bel Air in Natomas, suggests Kendall-Jackson Sauvignon Blanc.
Ron says, “It’s a great summer wine that pairs well with salads and seafood dishes. It’s a medium-bodied white wine that is crisp with flavors of melon, pineapple, pears and tropical fruits. It finishes well with hints of kiwi and citrus.”
And need I mention that this wine is on sale right now - although you’ll have to hurry, since the sale is ending soon.
(Psst, if you shop at Ron’s store, tell him you saw his tip on the Wine Club and that I need one for next month.)
I kid, I kid.
But not really.
