Heat 1 cup heavy whipping cream in a medium saucepan over low heat. Unwrap 1 (11-oz.) bag caramels and place in a medium glass bowl; microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes or until melted, stirring once or twice. Stir into cream and add1 (10-oz.) bag bittersweet chocolate chips. Cook over low heat until melted, whisking occasionally. Stir in 1/2 tsp. sea salt, or to taste. Serve with pretzels, cake cubes, fresh fruit or marshmallows using bamboo skewers for dipping. Keep warm in a small slow cooker.
