this is a disgusting sounding recipe. How about using fresh ingredients to make the gravy?   Member: altasierra7

As a diabetic and a lover of new recipes, I would love it if you could include the nutritional information so I know what the carb, sugar, protein, fat and sodium counts are. This would help me so much and probably other diabetics, too in choosing recipes to save and try out.   Member: foodiecat

I have made Beef Stroganoff in the past using pan drippings to make the gravy in the past and it works great! Searing the meat with a little flour on it and then putting a little water in the pan works great....   Member: ALIDSKIN

Just a few tried and true tips and substitutions to make this meal great. Before browning your meat saute up a half an onion (diced). After a bit of cooking mince up a clove or 2 of garlic and add to the onions. Remove before adding the beef and return once meat has browned. For a richer beefy flavor use baby bella mushrooms and instead of gravy I recommend McCormick's stroganoff dry mix. For wonderful stick free noodles add a teaspoon of salt to the water before boiling and a tablespoon of oil. Hope this has info has helped :)   Member: Leahferne

We used the Tri Tip and made homemade gravy from juice drippings. Fresh gravy was fantastic.   Member: Incline689
