'Tis the season for sweet potatoes and yams!

different ways. We think the Sweet Tamales
with Yams and Pecans are pretty sweet.
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Cut potatoes into long, thin strips and place on a large baking sheet. Toss with oil, then bake for 35 to 45 minutes, stirring 3 or 4 times during cooking, or until potatoes are golden brown and crisp. Remove from oven and toss with 2 tsp. sugar and 1/8 tsp. cinnamon.
Makes 4 servings.
