Ingredients
1 1/2 lb. dark chocolate chips or chopped
bittersweet chocolate
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. mint extract or 2 tbsp. peppermint
schnapps
Directions
Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 10 minutes

Melt chocolate, cream and corn syrup very slowly in the top of a double boiler or in the microwave. Stir in extract and remove from heat. Let cool slightly, then transfer to decorative containers. Keep refrigerated.

Makes 4 cups.

Tip! Tuck a jar of Minty Fudge Sauce into a basket with a small bag of crushed peppermint candy and instructions to stir the candy into a half gallon of vanilla ice cream. Add a red or green ice cream scoop and china or edible bowls to complete the picture!
