This makes a large batch of delicious, slightly spicy crackers. Half the dough
may be frozen for another party.
1 (8-oz.) package Sargento Chipotle Cheddar Cheese Slices
1 cup flour
1 cup masa (corn flour)
1/2 cup softened butter
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup lime juice
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. Morton & Bassett Mexican Seasoning
Directions
Prep: 10 minutes Cook: 15 to 18 minutes Makes: 100 small crackers
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Process until a soft dough forms. Knead several times on a lightly floured board, then shape into two 1½-inch thick logs. Wrap tightly and refrigerate until firm.
2. Slice into 1/8-inch thick pieces and place on prepared baking sheets. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown; let cool on baking sheets.
