Available for a limited, this premium cheese has been aged 2 years to a flavorful robust extra sharp cheddar. It's delicious served on its own, with crackers (we recommend Nob Hill Trading Co. Entertaining Crackers in Original or Wheat) or try this rich, delicious recipe for Cheddar Cheese Fondue:

Cheddar Cheese Fondue

Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup flour

2 cups milk

1/2 tsp. salt

Dash pepper

1/4 cup chopped green onions

2½ cups Raley’s 75th Anniversary Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Directions:

Shred cheese and set aside. In a heavy saucepan, combine butter, flour, milk, salt and pepper. Add green onions and cheese. Cook over medium heat, stirring continually until cheese is melted. Serve in a fondue pot over a low flame. No fondue pot? Serve in a warmed ceramic dish. (Note: if not kept over heat, cheese will thicken with time and will need to be reheated – try 30 seconds at a time at 50% power in your microwave, stirring in between.) Serve with chunks of Nob Hill Trading Co. Extra Sourdough Batard for dipping.
