Iced Coffee – The Perfect Summer Beverage

Choconut Coffee Latte

Our Brands:  Iced Coffee - The Perfect Summer Beverage

Coffee might not be the first drink that comes to mind for cooling down in the summer sun, but that might change once you try it on ice. A well-crafted iced coffee can actually be the perfect companion on a hot summer day.

Of course, you probably aren't looking to drop $4 in a fancy coffee shop every day – we don't blame you. But why not try Raley's Premium Coffee when it comes out to just twenty-six cents a cup? Our coffee is imported from specialty coffee destinations all over the world and is artisan-roasted locally in Lincoln, CA, giving you all the world's flavors with the freshness of a local roast.

Iced coffee is a tasty way to cool down your day, but how do you make the stuff? Ask three people, and you'll get four answers. A simple way that works for us is to simply brew your coffee the night before and keep it covered in the fridge overnight. Then, pour it over ice and add milk or cream the next morning and you're all set. A special note: if you like to sweeten your coffee, add sugar while it's still hot, since it will dissolve better than if you add it to the coffee once it's cold.

Since the ice can dilute the coffee a little bit, we recommend using a nice dark roast like Raley's Sumatra Coffee.

Iced coffee can also be great for entertaining! Impress your guests by discovering your inner barista and whipping up gourmet beverages like our Choconut Coffee Latte (below), perfect for drinks on the patio.
