Raley's and Milkbone partnered on a donation with the Elk Grove Police Department to help bring a new four-legged officer to its K-9 Unit.

On Sept. 30, representatives from Milkbone and Raley's gathered at Raley's on Elk Grove Blvd. to present a $5,000 donation check to the Elk Grove Police Department for the purchase of a new K-9 officer.

"We've been honored to partner with Milkbone in this program for a number of years," said Category Manager, Richard Bruns. "Keeping our communities safe and supporting local law enforcement is another example of our commitment to the neighborhoods our stores serve."

After a short ceremony, K-9 officers Shadow and Roco showed their skills in a special demonstration. And, they appreciated Milkbone's dog treats after a job well done!
