Following notification from our supplier Ready Pac Foods of a positive test result for E.coli in a single random sample of Romaine lettuce, Raley’s Family of Fine Stores voluntary recalled one bagged salad product subject to the recall sold at our Raley’s, Bel Air and Nob Hill Foods stores.

The specific single lot in question has a use-by date of November 18, 2011. The product impacted by this voluntary recall is:

• 10 oz. Raley's Caesar Romaine Salad  (0-46567-71642-8)

Raley’s immediately conducted our own recall and pulled all product from our shelves and from our warehouses as a precaution. The safety of our customers is of the upmost importance and we ask that anyone who has recently purchased this product to return the product to their local store for a full refund.

Any products containing Romaine lettuce that are currently available for sale in our stores are not affected by this recall. There are no reports of any illness linked to this recall.
