Industry Innovation:  Third Raley's Store to Achieve GreenChill's Gold-Level Certification
Only Three Locations on the West Coast: Petaluma, San Jose and Tracy

The Raley's in Tracy, Calif. is the third store to achieve Gold Level Certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's GreenChill Partnership, which works with supermarket industries through a cooperative alliance to reduce their emissions of ozone-depleting and greenhouse gases.

Raley's in Petaluma, Calif. was the first store in California to receive Gold-Level Certification on Earth Day in 2009. Nob Hill Foods in San Jose (on Snell Ave.) has also earned Gold-Level Certification.

To date, these three stores remain the only Gold-Level Certified locations on the West Coast.
