The following sweepstakes is intended for viewing in California only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to California law.

1.      How to Enter the Sweepstakes:

a.      The Get your Kids Cooking with the Sacramento Kings Sweepstakes begins July 8, 2009 and ends July 21, 2009. 

b.      Online Entries: Enter online at www.raleys.com/monarchs. Entries must be received between 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 and 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. To enter online, the parent must enter his or her valid email address, phone number and zip code in the online entry form. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures, or for incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible or lost entries. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, operation of the website or otherwise in violation of the rules. Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this sweepstakes if not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, technical corruption, non-authorized human intervention or force majeure. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to eligible, non-suspect, entries received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry devices or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the sweepstakes is prohibited. 

c.      Mailed Entries: Print entry form at www.raleys.com/monarchs. Entries must be completed by parent with the parent’s valid email address, phone number and zip code, and the minor child’s name and date of birth. Entry forms must be mailed to: Raley’s Kids Club, 500 West Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento, California 95605. Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than July 21, 2009 and received no later than July 22, 2009. Mailed entries not postmarked and received by these dates are not eligible to win a Prize. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible, late, stolen or lost entries.  

a.      Legal residents of California 18 years of age or older at time of entry, and who are parents of a minor child between the ages of 6 and 12, inclusive, are eligible to enter except employees of Raley's, Bel Air, Nob Hill General Store, Inc., Warehouse Concepts dba (Food Source), and Sacramento Monarchs Limited Partnership, LP, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, WNBA Properties, Inc., (collectively "Sponsor"), its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household are not eligible to enter or win.

b.      Only one (1) winner per minor child per household is permitted.

3.            Prizes:

a.      Eleven (11) winners will each win one (1) entrance pass for the winner and one (1) entrance pass for the winner's minor child into a "Get Your Kids Cooking" event with the Sacramento Monarchs on July 28, 2009. Each of the winners will also win one (1) prize pack for the winner's minor child containing a Sacramento Monarchs Kids Jersey, tote bag, recipe booklet, child size apron, utensil set and measuring spoons with an approximate retail value of $200.   

b.  Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemptions. No prize substitution or alternative prize will be allowed except as provided herein. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize be unavailable.

c.   Odds of winning depend on the actual number of valid entries received prior to the end of the sweepstakes.

4.            Selection of Winners:

a.      Decisions of Raley’s Marketing Department with respect to the sweepstakes are final.

b.      No later than July 22, 2009, the winners will be selected via random selection from eligible entries received by the deadlines. 

c.      Winner will be notified by telephone or email on July 22, 2009. In the event the potential winner does not respond to prize notification within 2 (two) days of attempted notification or declines the prize, another winner will be randomly chosen from the remaining eligible entrants. The cooking event will take place July 28. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the dates of the cooking events if not capable of completion as planned.

5.            Conditions.

a.      No information about the minor child shall be requested during the entry process. However, the parent winner must provide Sponsor with the participating minor child's name and age upon notification of winning.

b.      Entries completed online must be submitted by the parent from the parent's email address. Entries received via mail and in-store must be handwritten. No ink stamps or address labels allowed. No reproductions of entry blanks accepted.

c.      Limit one entry per household per day.

d.      All federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winner.

e.      Except where prohibited by law: (i) entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner's and winner's minor child's name, hometown, likeness, photograph, voice and statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes in any media, including the Internet, for any purpose whatsoever on behalf of Sponsor without compensation; (ii) each potential winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Winner's Agreement and Release within two (2) days of notification. If winner notification is not returned or is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and another name will be drawn. By participating and winning a prize, winner releases Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability with respect to the prize won and participation in the sweepstakes.

f.        Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or any other reason, or incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible or lost entries. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sponsor's Websites or that is otherwise in violation of the rules. Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the sweepstakes if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, technical corruption, unauthorized intervention, technical failures of any sort or force majeure. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to eligible, non-suspect, entries received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry devices or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the sweepstakes is prohibited.

 

g.      Sponsor reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the sweepstakes, including the substitution of a prize of comparable value.

 

h.      Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in a participant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Participants agree that Sponsor is not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in this sweepstakes or acceptance, possession or use of prizes.

 

i.        Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the sweepstakes, or in the announcement of a prize.

 

j.         For a list of all winners, available after August 1, 2009, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Get your Kids Cooking with the Sacramento Monarchs Sweepstakes List Request, P.O. Box 15618, Sacramento, CA 95852 for receipt by September 30, 2009.

6.      Internet Privacy Policy: By use of this website and by entering the sweepstakes, you agree to Sponsor's Website Privacy Policy and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at raleys.com/privacy.jsp and nobhill.com/privacy.jsp.

7. Liability Agreement:

By entering, entrant agrees to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify Raley’s & Bel Air, Sacramento Monarchs and/or the Women’s National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, WNBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant’s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion.
