(Monday February 12, 2007)
Nob Hill Foods is bringing its signature health and wellness offerings and prepared foods and convenient services to Alameda, opening the doors to its brand-new store at 6 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21. The grand opening event, with speeches from local dignitaries and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. and followed by entertainment and food sampling. There will be events and giveaways that evening and throughout the following weekend so customers can visit and enjoy what Nob Hill has to offer.
"We are extremely proud of this new store," said Raley's President & CEO, Bill Coyne. "From its unique architecture and design to its offerings, we're sure that Alameda has never before experienced a supermarket like this one."
The 58,977-square-foot store is opening with a number of amenities to meet the needs of the Alameda community.
For the Health Conscious:
For the Busy:
Community Commitment: Nob Hill also offers its customers any easy way to give to local residents in need. The company brings a strong commitment to each community it serves with its support of Food For Families, its own non-profit charity that gathers donations year-round from customers and colleagues to help feed the hungry in the communities each store serves. One-hundred percent of donations made in Alameda will go to the local chapter of the Salvation Army.
"We welcome Alameda shoppers to try our store," Coyne said. "And with our warm and genuine service and unbeatable high-quality products, we feel confident they will want to make Nob Hill their regular shopping destination."
