Red Beans and Rice Skillet
1 (8- oz.) package Mahatma Red Beans and Rice Mix
2 3/4 cups water
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup dry sherry
1 (12- oz.) package Hormel Diced Ham
1 small green bell pepper diced
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Combine rice mix, water, butter and sherry in a large skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Add ham and green pepper to the skillet; cover and cook for 5 minutes more. For a spicier flavor, serve with Tabasco.

Makes 4 servings.
