Quick Sausage and Peppers
Quick Sausage and Peppers
1 (19.5- oz.) package Jennie-O Turkey Store Italian Sausage
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 medium onion thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups red, yellow and green bell pepper
3/4 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Place sausage links in a medium skillet over medium heat; cover or tent with foil. Cook, turning occasionally, until cooked through, about 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat oil in another skillet. Add onion and cook for
5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add pepper strips and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.

Stir in marinara sauce and cook until heated through. Pour sauce and vegetables over cooked sausage and top with cheese.

Serve as is or spoon into baguette sections.
