Flaky Cream Biscuits
4 cups flour
2½ tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into pieces
2½ cups cream

2. Stir in cream and gather into a ball using your hands. Transfer half the dough at a time to a floured board and roll 1-inch thick. Cut into 3-inch circles with a cutter, pressing straight down (do not twist). Reroll and cut scraps.
3. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze until ready to bake. (Leave on baking sheets or place frozen biscuit dough in an airtight container. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets before thawing.)
4. To bake, thaw biscuit dough and preheat oven to 450°F. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
