Sweet Berry Almond Hearts
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup golden raisins
1 tsp. raspberry extract
1/3 cup brown rice syrup, warmed*
4 cups crispy rice cereal
3 tbsp. Just Raspberries (in our Produce Dept.), coarsely crushed between your fingers
12 sticks paper treat pop sticks (in our baking aisle)
Melted white chocolate, optional
Prep: 10 minutes, Serves: 12
2. Knead in cereal with your hands until incorporated, then lightly knead in raspberries.
3. Turn out onto a cutting board and firmly press to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into heart shapes with a 2-inch cookie cutter and carefully insert a stick into the bottom of each. Drizzle with chocolate, if you like.
