Spicy Mango Lemongrass Shrimp
Spicy Mango Lemongrass Shrimp
Ingredients
3 tbsp. Bandar Spicy Mango Chili Sauce
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. Gourmet Garden Lemongrass Paste (in our Produce Dept.)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup snipped fresh chives
Short bamboo skewers, soaked in water to avoid burning
Directions

Another lowfat, gluten-free appetizer idea!

Prep: 15 minutes, Cook: 6 to 8 minutes, Serves: 8

1. Stir together all ingredients except shrimp, chives and skewers in a small bowl. Divide mixture into 2 bowls. 

2. Thread 2 shrimp onto each skewer and place on a baking sheet. Grill or broil over medium heat for a few minutes on each side or until fully pink, basting with half of the sauce liberally several times during cooking.

3. Place on a platter and brush with remaining sauce; sprinkle with chives.
