Shredded Beef Sandwiches
1 boneless chuck roast (about 4 lb.)
1 large onion thinly sliced
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
24 hamburger buns split
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 8 to 9 hours in slow cooker

Cut roast in half and place in a slow cooker. Top with onion. Combine remaining ingredients except buns and pour over roast. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until meat is tender. Remove roast and cool slightly. Shred meat with 2 forks. Skim fat from cooking liquid. Return meat to slow cooker and cook through. Using a slotted spoon, place 1/3 cup meat mixture on each bun.

Makes 24 servings
