Oat Tea Biscuits with Orange Honey Butter
Ingredients
Oat Topping:
1½ tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. McCann's Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal
2 bags Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea, contents removed from bags

Biscuits:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup McCann's Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal
2½ tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 bags Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea, contents removed from bags
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. buttermilk

Orange Honey Butter:
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 tbsp. honey
1/2 tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
Directions

Prep: 15 minutes, Cook: 10 to 12 minutes, Makes: 10 biscuits

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Stir together oat topping ingredients in a small bowl; set aside. To prepare biscuits, stir together flour, oatmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt and tea in a large bowl.

2. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until it's the size of small peas; stir in 3/4 cup buttermilk with a fork. Pat or roll 1/2-inch thick on a lightly floured board; cut into 3-inch rounds and place on a baking sheet.

3. Brush tops with additional 2 tbsp. buttermilk and sprinkle with oat topping. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm with Orange Honey Butter.

Orange Honey Butter:

Stir together 1/4 cup softened butter, 1/2 tbsp. honey and 1/2 tbsp. undiluted, thawed frozen orange juice concentrate.
