Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Sandwich
Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Sandwich
Ingredients
1 loaf Nob Hill Trading Co. Gruyère and Olive Bread (in our Bakery)
3 tbsp. deli or spicy brown mustard
3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese divided
2 oz. pastrami thinly sliced
1 heaping cup rotisserie chicken shredded
1/2 cup roasted bell pepper strips
3 thin slices red onion
Directions

Prep time: 10 minutes, Cook time: 20 minutes Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut an oval out of the top of the bread. Make a cut ½ inch from crust all the way around bread, then tear out the inside, leaving a 1/2-inch bread shell. Spread mustard on the inside of the bread and the underside of the bread top. Spread half the cheese in the bottom of the bread shell, then layer pastrami, chicken, peppers, onion and remaining cheese, in that order. Place on a baking sheet and place the bread top on the baking sheet next to the sandwich. Cook for 20 minutes or until all ingredients are hot; close sandwich. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
