Korean Kalbi Ribs
Korean Kalbi Ribs
3 lb. short ribs
1 (14.6- oz.) bottle Ebara Korean barbecue sauce
3 tbsp. sesame seeds toasted
1 (1 -inch) piece fresh ginger peeled and minced
3 green onions sliced
Prep: 5 minutes Cook: about 8 minutes Makes: 12 servings
Marinate: 2 hours or overnight
1. Cut each rib into 3 pieces, carefully cutting between the bones. (There will be 2 spots on each rib where there is no bone.)
2. Score meat on both sides by making small diagonal gashes with a paring knife. Place meat in a bowl with remaining ingredients. Cover and marinate, refrigerated, for 2 hours or overnight.
3. Remove ribs from marinade and cook on a grill or under the broiler about 4 inches from heat, until browned, about 8 minutes.
