Grilled Rib Eye Steaks with Blue Cheese Butter
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter softened
2 tbsp. crumbled blue cheese
1/2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
4 Raley's Black Angus Beef rib eye steaks, 1-inch thick
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions

Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 10 to 18 minutes Stir together butter, blue cheese, coarse pepper and garlic in a small bowl; cover and set aside. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Place on a grill over medium heat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side for rare, 6 to 7 minutes per side for medium-rare or 7 to 9 minutes per side for medium. Remove from grill and top each steak with a dollop of blue cheese butter. Makes 4 servings.

Made on 7/4/09 w/my parents. Was good but the steak was great without the cheese and butter and didn't need it.
