Sourdough Turkey Sandwich
Sourdough Turkey Sandwich
1 large, round loaf Fresh Service Bakery sourdough bread
1 (7.5- oz.) jar Reese Marinated Artichoke Hearts
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1-1/2 lb. smoked turkey breast thinly sliced
6 slices onion
Jack cheese, Lettuce, tomatoes, sliced red onion, pepperoncinis, pickles
Prep time: 20 minutes

Cut a 4-inch circle out of the top of the loaf of bread. Tear the inside out of the loaf, leaving a 1-inch shell. Place half of the artichoke liquid in a small bowl with mayonnaise and mix well; brush over the inside of the bread bowl. Chop artichoke hearts and spread on the bottom of the bread bowl. Layer alternate slices of turkey, cheese and any other sandwich fixings desired. Replace the top of the bread and press down firmly on top of the sandwich to press ingredients together. Cut into large wedges to serve.

Makes 6 servings.

This sandwich can be served immediately after making, but it's even better when tightly wrapped and refrigerated overnight!
