Perfect Iced Tea

Perfect Iced Tea
6 ea regular size tea bags
2 cups boiling water
1/8 tsp. baking soda
6 cups cold water

Prep: 20 minutes Serves: 6

1. Place tea bags in a large pitcher. Add boiling water and baking soda and let steep for 15 minutes.
2. Remove tea bags and add cold water. Serve with lemon and sugar, if desired.
Cinnamon Spice Iced Tea:
Add 2 cinnamon sticks and 6 whole cloves to the pitcher with the tea bags. Strain out before serving. Add lemon and honey, if desired.
Raspberry Iced Tea:
1. Place 1 (6-oz.) container rinsed fresh raspberries in a large glass measuring cup along with tea bags and baking soda; add boiling water.
2. Press raspberries with the back of a spoon to release some of the juices. Let steep for 15 minutes, then remove tea bags.
3. Strain the mixture into a pitcher and add cold water. Add lemon and sugar, if desired.
