Tomatillo Chicken
Tomatillo Chicken
4 ea boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 to 1 1/2 lb.)
2 tsp. Morton & Bassett Mexican Blend Seasoning
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 (7- oz.) can Herdez or Embasa Salsa Verde
1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Sprinkle Mexican seasoning and garlic salt over
both sides of chicken. Cook over medium heat in a
skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray for 5
minutes per side. Pour salsa into skillet and cook,
covered, for 5 minutes more or until internal
temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from heat
and sprinkle with cheese. Great with rice, beans
and warmed tortillas.

Makes 4 servings.
