Tomato Soy Marinade for Beef
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 large cloves garlic minced
1/2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
Whisk together all ingredients. Let beef marinate in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight. For safety’s sake, either divide the marinade prior to basting, using half as the marinade and the other half as the sauce. Or bring the used marinade to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes and serve as a sauce.
