Warm Peach Caramel Sauce
Warm Peach Caramel Sauce
1/4 cup butter (no substitutions)
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tbsp. peach brandy
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large peaches pitted and sliced
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 5 to 7 minutes

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Stir in brown sugar and bring to a boil over low heat. Let simmer, stirring frequently, for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cream slowly. Return to burner, add brandy and vanilla and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more. Let cool slightly, then stir in peaches. Serve warm over Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream or cake slices.

Makes about 1-1/2 cups.
