Grilled Sausage over Mixed Greens and Asiago Bread
Ingredients
1 (1- lb.) package Aidells Artichoke and Garlic or Pesto Chicken Sausage
4 (1/2 -inch thick) slices Old World Style Asiago Cheese Cracked Pepper Bread (from our Fresh Service Bakery)
4 cups lightly packed spring mix
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
Parmesan cheese shredded
Directions
Prep time: 10 minutes, Cook time: 10 minutes

Cut sausages in half lengthwise. Place on a grill over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes per side or until lightly charred and heated through. During the last few minutes of cooking, place bread slices on grill and cook for 1 minute per side or until toasted. Place greens in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, vinegar and mustard; pour over greens and toss well to coat. Place equal amounts of greens on each bread slice. Top each with a grilled sausage and Parmesan cheese to create an open-face sandwich.

Makes 4 servings.
