Honey Figs with Goat Cheese and Pecans

1 cup toasted pecans finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste freshly ground
1 (6- oz.) package goat cheese
12 fresh figs halved
3/4 cup honey

Prep: 10 minutes Makes: 6 servings

1. Place pecans in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper. Roll goat cheese in pecans to evenly coat. Refrigerate until firm, if necessary, then cut evenly into 12 slices.
2. Place 4 fig halves and 2 goat cheese slices in 6 shallow bowls or dessert plates. Drizzle 2 tbsp. honey over each serving. Serve immediately.
