Teriyaki Salmon Burgers
Teriyaki Salmon Burgers
Ingredients
2 (7- oz.) pouches Chicken of the Sea Salmon
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts
1/4 cup chopped red bell peppers
3 tbsp. teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Oil
Wheat hamburger buns split and lightly toasted on grill
lettuce
tomato slices
cucumber slices
Directions
Combine all ingredients except oil, buns and
toppings in a
small bowl and mix well; shape

into 4 patties. Place on a well-oiled piece of heavy-
duty
foil on a grill over medium heat and cook for about
5
minutes. Brush tops with oil and turn; cook for 5
minutes
more. (Turn carefully so burgers do not fall apart.)
Remove
from foil and cook for 2 minutes more per side or
until
lightly charred. Serve on wheat buns with lettuce,
tomato
and cucumber. Serve with additional teriyaki sauce,
if
desired.

Makes 4 servings.
