Peppermint Tea Shortbread  Cookies
Peppermint Tea Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
1/4 cup water
2 to 3 bags Twinings Pure Peppermint Tea
1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups flour

Heat 1/4 cup water to a boil; pour over 2 to 3 Twinings Pure Peppermint Teabags, letting steep for 5 minutes. Remove bags, squeezing to retain as much liquid concentrate as possible (about 2 tbsp.). Set aside. Cream together 1 cup softened butter and 1/2 cup sugar; add tea concentrate. Add 3 cups flour a little at a time, thoroughly blending in each addition. The finished ball of dough will be very soft and sticky. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Roll out chilled dough on a floured board to a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 inch. Cut into your favorite shapes. Bake in a 350?F oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

Makes about 12 cookies.

I'm confused about how much tea to add. All of it? Or 2 Tbsp?
