Olive Cheese Balls
Olive Cheese Balls
1½ cups masa (corn flour)
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 to 6 tbsp. sour cream
40 small black or green olives

Prep: 15 minutes Cook: 20 minutes Makes: 40 pieces or 10 servings

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Cut butter into masa with a fork or pastry blender. Add cheese, chili powder, salt and enough sour cream to make a soft, but not sticky, dough.
2. Press a small amount of dough (about the size of a large marble) around each olive and place on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until dough is firm to the touch. Serve warm.
