Mini Puffed Apple Pies

Mini Puffed Apple Pies
2 ea small green apples
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 cup pecans
1 sheet frozen puff pastry (1/2 of a 17.5 oz. package)
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Put the apples, brown sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon in a medium microwave-safe bowl. 3. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Stir and cook for 2 minutes more. 4. Stir in the pecans. 5. Roll the puff pastry out on a lightly floured board into a 10-by-12-inch rectangle and cut into 12 equal pieces. 6. Press each square into a muffin tin and fill with a heaping tablespoon of the apple mixture. 7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.

Makes 12 mini pies.
