Parmesan Toasts with Two Spreads
Parmesan Toasts with Two Spreads
24 (1/8 -inch thick) slices Old World Style Sourdough Baguette
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
1/4 cup International Collection Kalamata Olive Tapenade*
1/4 cup International Collection Sweet Red Pepper Tapenade*
fresh basil (for garnish) sliced
* Tapenade is a savory spread located near the olives.

Prep: 10 minutes Cook: 2 to 3 minutes Makes: 24 appetizers

Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Spoon 1 tsp. cheese on each slice and broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Just before serving, top each with 1/2 tsp. of each tapenade. Garnish with basil.
