Bordeaux Cherry Sauce
Bordeaux Cherry Sauce
2/3 cup Bordeaux wine or Cabernet Sauvignon
1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup dried cherries
Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 10 minutes

In a small saucepan, stir together wine, juice and cherries. Simmer over low heat for 6 to 8 minutes. Let cool slightly, then puree in a blender or food processor. Return to pan and cook until hot, stirring in a small amount of additional wine if mixture is too thick. Serve over Game Hens with Cherry Stuffing (see separate recipe).

Makes 2 servings.
