Pan Seared Steaks with Onion Gravy

Pan Seared Steaks with Onion Gravy
Ingredients
4 Raley's Black Angus Beef bone-in rib eye steaks
Salt and pepper, to taste freshly ground
1 tbsp. butter
1 medium onion peeled and thinly sliced
1 (1- oz.) package Knorr Brown Gravy Mix
1/4 cup Cabernet Sauvignon
Directions
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Season steaks with salt and pepper. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add steaks and cook over medium-high heat for 1 minute per side to sear. Reduce heat and cook for 3 to 4 minutes more per side for medium rare. Remove from skillet and keep warm. Add onions to skillet and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir together gravy mix, wine and 1 cup water. Pour over onions and cook for 5 minutes more to thicken. Pour over steaks.

Makes 4 servings.
