Ham with Tangy Cherry Sauce
Ham with Tangy Cherry Sauce
1 (1- lb.) bag frozen dark sweet cherries thawed
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. orange peel finely grated
1-1/2 lb. ham sliced
Prep time: 10 minutes, Cook time: 15 to 20 minutes

Place cherries, honey and vinegar in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat slightly and simmer over
medium-high heat for 15 minutes or until liquid has cooked
off and mixture is thick and syrupy. (Mixture will thicken
as it cools.) Stir in orange peel. Heat ham in a skillet or
under the broiler for several minutes on each side. Serve
warm sauce over ham.

Makes 6 servings.
