Maple Bacon

Maple Bacon
16 strips bacon
3 tbsp. pure maple syrup
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook bacon in a large skillet for 5 minutes per side or until crisp. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Place bacon in a 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Drizzle with maple syrup. Turn bacon and shake pan from side to side to coat with syrup. Season with pepper. Bake for 5 minutes or until bacon is a deep golden brown.
