Fresh Tomato Artichoke Sauce

Fresh Tomato Artichoke Sauce
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 cup onion, chopped
4 cloves roasted garlic, chopped
1 (22- oz.) bag Tesoro Roma Tomatoes
1 (6.5- oz.) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/4 cup snipped fresh basil

Prep: 15 minutes, Cook: 10 minutes, Makes: about 2 cups

Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil in a large skillet. Add 1 cup chopped onion and 4 cloves chopped roasted garlic; cook over medium heat for 5 minutes to soften. Dice 1 (22-oz. bag) Tesoro Roma tomatoes and add to skillet with 1 drained and chopped (6.5-oz.) jar marinated artichoke hearts; cook for 5 minutes more. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar and stir in 1/4 cup snipped fresh basil. Serve over hot cooked pasta or use as a pizza sauce or topper.
