Fig Balsamic Glazed Beef
Fig Balsamic Glazed Beef
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup chianti
1/3 cup chopped dried figs
1 clove garlic, minced
1½ lbs. Raley's Black Angus Beef grilling steaks
chopped fresh rosemary

Simple and fresh, serve with grilled or soft polenta.

Prep: 20 minutes, Cook: 20 minutes, Serves: 4

1. Bring balsamic vinegar, chianti, figs and garlic to a boil in a small saucepan; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly, then puree until smooth.

2. Season steaks to taste with salt and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat for 5 minutes on each side or until beef is cooked to your liking, brushing with some of the glaze after turning.

3. Sprinkle beef with chopped fresh rosemary and serve with remaining glaze.

Also great with grilled pork or chicken!
