Plum and Hazelnut Salad
Ingredients
Chianti Dressing:
2 tbsp. Chianti
1 tbsp. white balsamic vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. mayonnaise
Freshly ground sea salt and pepper to taste
Plum Salad:
1 (5- oz.) package baby arugula
2 cups fresh plum slices
1 shallot (about 1/3 cup), very thinly sliced
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted
Shaved Grana Padano or Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese (In our Deli)
Directions

Prep: 15 minutes, Serves: 6

1. Whisk together Chianti, vinegar and garlic in a small bowl. Slowly whisk in olive oil, then mayonnaise and seasonings.

2. Place arugula, plums and shallots in a medium bowl and drizzle with dressing; toss well to coat. Place on 6 salad plates and sprinkle with hazelnuts and cheese.
