Cinnamon Bagel Chips

6 sprouted wheat or whole wheat bagels unsliced
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Prep: 10 minutes Cook: 10 to 15 minutes Makes: 8 to 10 servings

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut each bagel in half to form 2 semi-circles. Place cut side down on a cutting board and slice as thinly as possible.
2. Stir together butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and spread thinly on one side of each bagel slice. Place in a single layer on baking sheets and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until fairly crisp. (They'll continue to crisp as they cool.) Can be stored in an airtight container for several days.
Tip: The bagels will be easier to slice thinly if they're partially frozen. Freeze for about 1 hour or until very firm.
