Miso Glazed Olives
Miso Glazed Olives
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic minced
1½ tbsp. white miso paste
1½ tbsp. rice vinegar (unseasoned)
1½ tsp. grated fresh ginger
1 tsp. honey
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
2 (6- oz.) cans extra-large ripe olives well drained
toasted sesame seeds
chopped chives

Prep: 10 minutes  Cook: 10 minutes  Serves: 12

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in miso, vinegar, ginger, honey and red pepper; cook for 5 minutes more.
2. Stir in olives and cook for a few minutes or until olives are warm and nicely glazed. Transfer to a decorative bowl and garnish with sesame seeds and chives. Serve immediately with toothpicks.
