California Crab Cake Sliders
4 (2-inch long) pieces Nob Hill Trading Co. Sourdough Baguette (in our Bakery)
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tbsp. minced pickled jalapeño peppers
3 tbsp. Mezzetta Roasted Bell Pepper & Chipotle Sandwich Spread
1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and mashed
2 (8- oz.) boxes Nob Hill Trading Co. Crab Cakes (in our Frozen Foods section)

California avocado meets San Francisco style.

Prep: 20 minutes, Cook: 10 minutes, Serves: 8

1. Cut bread in half lengthwise and brush cut sides with olive oil; broil for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown.

2. Stir together sour cream and jalapeños. Spread equal amounts of sandwich spread, avocado and sour cream mixture onto each bread piece; set aside.

3. Pan-fry crab cakes according to package directions until very crisp and golden brown; drain on paper towels. Place 1 crab cake on each piece of bread. Garnish each with a decorative toothpick, if you like.
