Wasabi Pea Crusted Tuna
Wasabi Pea Crusted Tuna
1 (12 oz.) package Full Circle Natural Ahi Tuna thawed
1/2 cup thick teriyaki sauce (such as Soy Vay)
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 cup wasabi peas finely crushed, divided
1 tbsp. sesame oil

Serve this spicy tuna over a cool, crisp Asian slaw with steamed rice.

Prep: 15 minutes, Marinate: 10 minutes
Cook: about 6 minutes, Serves: 2 to 3

1. Marinate tuna in teriyaki and soy sauce for 10 minutes. Remove and shake off excess.

2. Set aside 2 tbsp. crushed peas and sprinkle the larger amount over both sides of tuna, pressing into the surface.

3. Heat sesame oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add tuna and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, keeping the tuna slightly rare. Sprinkle remaining 2 tbsp. peas over cooked tuna.

*Place in a bag and fold over top. Pound with a meat mallet, a heavy skillet or a rolling pin to crush.
