Peppered Maple Bacon

Peppered Maple Bacon
4 strips bacon
1 tbsp. maple syrup
Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook 4 strips bacon
in a large skillet for 5 minutes per side or
until crisp. Remove from skillet and drain
on paper towels. Place in a small baking
dish and drizzle with 1 tbsp. maple syrup.
Turn bacon and shake pan from side to side
to coat with syrup. Season with freshly
ground pepper and bake for 5 minutes or
until bacon is a deep golden brown.

Makes 2 servings.
