Hot Sausage Melts
1/2 cup cannellini beans mashed
2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
4 (1 -inch thick) slices Old World Style Asiago Cheese Cracked Pepper or Potato Rosemary Bread, lightly toasted the diagonal to make slices larger)
3 links Aidells Pesto Chicken Sausage (or any other Italian variety) sliced 1/4-inch thick
1/2 cup Italian blend cheese shredded
Prep time: 10 minutes, Cook time: 8 to 10 minutes

Stir together beans, olive oil and garlic salt; spread equal amounts on one side of each bread slice. Sauté sausage in a medium nonstick skillet until lightly browned; spoon over beans. Top with cheese and broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until melted.

Makes 4 open-face sandwiches.
