Spicy Hummus Dip
Spicy Hummus Dip
1 (15- oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained
1/4 cup plain fat-free yogurt
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2-1/2 tbsp. sesame tahini*
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
Pita bread wedges or
Pita chips or
Raw vegetables

Prep: 10 minutes, Serves: 8

1. Puree beans, yogurt, lemon juice, tahini, cumin, cayenne and garlic in a food processor or blender until smooth. 

2. Serve with pita bread wedges, pita chips or raw vegetables.

*Tahini is made from ground sesame seeds. Once opened, it may be stored for 2 months in the refrigerator.
