Cinnamon Pecan Twists
Cinnamon Pecan Twists
Ingredients
1/3 cup broken cinnamon graham crackers
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup pecans chopped
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 (17.3- oz.) box puff pastry thawed
1 egg beaten
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Place graham crackers, brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon in a blender or food processor and process until the consistency of sand. Unfold pastry and brush with egg. Spread sugar mixture over the surface of the pastry. Cut in half, then cut each half into eight 1-inch strips. Twist strips and lay on prepared sheets, pushing ends down with your thumbs. Freeze for 10 to 15 minutes or until firm. Bake twists for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown, rotating pans halfway through cook time. Cool on a wire rack.

Makes 32 twists.
